Can I carry any annual leave forward to the following year?

As per the guidance located here:

3 days leave (22.5 hours full time equivalent, pro rata for part time employees) may be carried forward to the following leave year by agreement with the Line Manager. Any leave carried over to the next leave year must be used by 31 December.

(This can be calculated by multiplying your FTE by 22.5 hours or 3 days)
 

Regarding Leave recorded in PeopleXD, the system will automatically carry forward up to 3 days / 22.5 hours pro-rata. 

If your staff member needs to carry forward more than this (or in rare cases, less due to agreement that the 3 days pro-rata will not be carried) then please email:
annual.leave@lancaster.ac.uk.
Staff contacting us on behalf of their manager should copy their Line Manager or Departmental Officer in as authorisation will be required.

Any adjustments to your carry forward will be completed after the rollover is complete so please give us up to 2 weeks from the leave rollover if it is not visible.
