What is my maternity leave entitlement?

Answer

All pregnant members of staff are entitled to take 52 weeks statutory maternity leave, you have this right from day one of starting your role. This consists of 26 weeks ordinary maternity leave and 26 weeks additional maternity leave. You get the same amount of maternity leave and pay even if you have more than one baby, for example twins.
