Can I take paid time off to attend pre-adoption meetings?

Answer

Employees who adopt/undertake surrogacy are entitled to paid time off to attend pre-adoption/surrogacy meetings: up to 5 adoption/surrogacy appointments for the primary adopter/intended parent and up to 2 appointments for the secondary adopter/intended parent.

Single adopters/intended parents are entitled to paid time off to attend up to 5 adoption/surrogacy appointments.
