What leave am I entitled to following the bereavement of other relatives?

Staff members are eligible to leave with pay (usually the funeral) for up to one day (pro rata for part-time employees).

The University provides access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme, which includes access to immediate emotional support and session based counselling, stress management support as well as support for families. This service can be accessed by calling 0800 1116 387 or email: helpline.wellness@vhg.co.uk.
