How much time can I take for Academic Research and Education Leave?

Answer

Academic Research and Education Leave will normally be taken in units of 1 or more term. When 1 term's leave is given, it will usually be recorded as covering one third of the year, either 15th December to 14th April, 15th April to 14th August, or 15th August to 14th December, with deviations at the discretion of the Faculty Dean. At the discretion of the Faculty applications for a leave period shorter than 1 term may be considered in order to enable flexibility in agreeing how leave is taken to meet individuals’ needs.
