Am I given any additional protection if I am at risk of redundancy whilst on maternity leave?

Employees whose posts are deemed to be at risk of redundancy whilst they are on maternity leave are subject to additional statutory protection and may be given priority over other redeployees in relation to suitable alternative employment.
