What if I am redeployed at a lower grade?

Where it is not possible to find a role at the same grade, then an employee may be redeployed at a lower grade. In these circumstances, and provided that the alternative position is not more than two grades below the employee’s substantive grade, pay protection will only be applied if the employee is at risk of redundancy and/or has been affected by organisational change.
