What is the procedure for obtaining a fee waiver?

Answer

The fee for staff members (full-time or part-time) undertaking a part-time research degree at the University may be waived for staff who meet certain criteria, at the discretion of the relevant academic Head of Department. 

The criteria and procedure below will apply to all new staff registrations for part-time research degrees with effect from 1 February 2019.
