What is a Voluntary Severance Scheme?
A Voluntary Severance scheme is entirely voluntary and offers an opportunity for eligible employees to leave the University on mutually agreed terms and, in doing so, the employee is provided with a monetary package to support them leaving the organisation. This scheme is not a redundancy process, and the terms set out will be agreed as part of a settlement agreement. Any decision to grant Voluntary Severance will be at the sole discretion of the University.
